Live 3D Poker Enters New Generation as LivePoker.com

Posted in Poker on September 14th, 2006 by Live Poker

CURACAO, NETHERLANDS ANTILLES – Sept. 13, 2006 – Today marks the beginning of a new era in online poker for the thousands of players around the world who regularly log in to play on the Live 3D Poker web site. Beginning immediately, anyone attempting to visit www.live3Dpoker.com will be redirected to www.livepoker.com, a brand new online poker site launched by Fun Games International N.V., which launched Live 3D Poker in April 2005.

“We’ve listened to our players and made a number of positive changes on the Live Poker site, including adding more bonuses that are available to our playing community,” explained Live Poker general manager Fred Luchetti. “At the same time, we’ve kept the best features from the old site, including realistic, full screen, fully immersive, three-dimensional graphics and top-rate client software that works on both PCs and Macs.”

“The best part of all,” added Luchetti, “is that we’ve kept the emphasis throughout the site on human interaction. Live Poker puts the soul into online poker.”

Maintaining its commitment to offer the online poker community the most realistic game play available anywhere on the web, Live Poker gives players the opportunity to hone their skills by pitting themselves in both real and play money games against other individuals from around the world in such popular games as Texas Hold ‘Em, Omaha, Omaha Hi/Lo and Stud.

Mac & PC Users Rave

With its richly rendered 3D environments, a software download pioneered specifically for Mac users, and exciting, weekly free roll tournaments, Live Poker is already drawing rave reviews from players who have had a sneak peak.

“Live Poker offers the best game support you can have. Online tutors and a ‘big brother’ on the site make it a highly recommended poker destination, especially for Macintosh users,” said Stefano Luceri of Italy.

New Affiliate Program

In conjunction with the launch of its new site, Live Poker has joined the Income Access Affiliate Network, which specializes in affiliate marketing for the international online gaming industry. Working with Income Access, LivePoker.com will offer affiliate sites competitive commissions for directing new players to its site. Program participants will receive comprehensive reporting and tracking information to accurately gauge the success and optimize the performance of their affiliate marketing campaigns. Visit Live Poker’s affiliate marketing web page for details on this new program.

New Name | New Site | New Blog

Posted in Poker on September 12th, 2006 by Live Poker

As of September 5th, 2006, Live 3D Poker became Live Poker. We dropped the 3D out of our name to concentrate more on the important things - POKER! We were told by many of our players that “it’s all about the game” and we feel that our new name better reflects that sentiment.

We are still the same great people with the same great software.

And now, one week later, we think it has been a success. We have had some wonderful comments from our players about the new look - thanks! We have also heard some great things about the new software - thanks again!

Now we are adding a new blog to our new forum (http://www.livepoker.com/forum) to keep this forward progression moving. We are likely going to have a professional poker writer or 2 join us on this blog, to be sure that we fill it with only the best content we can.

Now that a lot of the grunt work is done and our new personna is live, we can get back to work on some other goodies we have up our sleeves. Stay tuned for some big announcements coming soon, we never stand still!

P.S. Just to get you excited, some of these future projects concern bigger tournaments, cruises, major advertising campaigns, new languages and more!
